0.6.1 was a minor patch, which brought with it matchmaking information and client performance improvements, as well as bug fixes.
Patch Notes
It’s another week and that means another brand new patch! This patch focuses on some nice quality of life improvements as well as other minor changes.
Matchmaking Information Changes
Previously, the amount of players that are currently in your queue for a game would only display once the countdown to teleport players into the game has begun. We’ve changed that so now you can always see the number of players in your current queue.
This queue number will show the minimum number of players needed to start a game, rather than the maximum. Once it’s reached the minimum, it will change to show the maximum it can then reach.
Together, these changes should mean you now have a much better idea of the state of the queues that you are in!
Client Performance Improvements
We’ve made improvements to client performance on 1.19.3 for users that were experiencing frequent game freezes. M1 Mac users specifically were heavily affected and should see much better FPS after this update.
We are still looking into further improvements in the future as some users still experience minor freezes. You can also temporarily use 1.19.2 if you still experience these game freezes as 1.19.2 does not experience the same issues.
Changes and Fixes
- Added the border shrink and map update alert sounds to Sky Battle
- Increased the amount of time you can stay in the end-game podium area before being teleported back to the game lobby from 40 seconds to 60.
- Reduced the waiting time between rounds of TGTTOS by a total of 7 seconds to make it feel a bit more snappier!
- All end-game placement titles now have consistent colouring across all games.
- Fixed an issue that could cause players with many Customisation Kits to lag when they open their Infinibag.
