Patch Notes

Material Pouches, Shop Changes, and Bundles

We’re rolling out a quick patch with many neat fixes and changes to help you on your way to a weekend full of island fun!

Material Pouches

Materials have been changed to instead always come from Material Pouches, a new openable type. These pouches range in rarity from common to legendary and contain a load of components each time you open them.

You should have a much easier time earning Power Shards, Key Shards, and Binding Gel with the introduction of these pouches, as they will often contain them as bonus items.

Both Crates and Treasure Chests have been adjusted to instead now give Material Pouches instead of just the raw materials (It's more fun this way tbh).

Free Crate Tokens!

To let everyone get a feel for these changes, we’ve gone ahead and added a temporary free bundle of Crate Tokens to the webstore: MCC Island Webstore

Shop Expansion & Additions

We’ve rebalanced most shops, as well as increased the number of items that appear in each of our rotating shops substantially, to make it easier to find what you need. Most items should appear in shops much more frequently now.

The newly added Material Pouches will also now appear in both the General Store and Knick Knax, and are a great thing to pick up if you’re running low on materials.

Bundlebox Opening

All our Cosmetic Bundles are now also purchasable for gems in-game, through the Bundlebox store. This is also a great place to get an easier preview of all the cosmetics each bundle contains.

Other Changes & Fixes

  • Adjusted some of the values of quests to make them more balanced and consistent with other quests.
  • Increased the amount of quests treasure scrolls contain from 2 → 3
  • Changed the blueprint cost of Faction Prestige Emblems to require a Rare Power Shard instead of an Epic Power Shard.
  • Plenty of bugs fixed, thank you to everyone who’s been reporting them!
