The Great Yellow Creature Hunt was the first in-game event on MCC Island. It was created in response to a recent surge of players on the server wearing yellow creature skins.

Background and Timeline

Upon the server launch, a player named AProfLoser and his friends changed their skins to a staring yellow creature. This trend was quickly spread to other players, and was recognised by many participants and the Noxcrew members, prompting the very first in-game event of the server.

Patch 0.1.1 introduced this event on August 23rd, 2022. All Noxcrew members and MCC participants were given a net that, when used, could send a player to a jail in the basement of the police station. Captured players were unable to teleport for a period of 3 minutes, but could escape via the sewers through the toilet provided in the jail.

After numerous captures, AProfLoser negotiated with InTheLittleWood - who was streaming at the time - to give the creatures a space to live. They agreed that the creatures could stay on a specific set of islands near the Blue Bats faction area. InTheLittleWood spoke to the Noxcrew, who agreed to give the creatures two tiny islands and a floatie. If they were to escape, they would be given a jail time of a year.

Several participants also joined the yellow creature army, prominently Krtzyy, who supported the army from the beginning.

On August 25th, 2022, the event ended, as a new hut was added in between the two islands negotiated, as well as a NPC named "ProfWinner", referring to the leader of the group.
