Factions are one of the main progression channels on MCC Island. There are 10 factions, each named after one of the teams from MC Championship.
The player's current faction is shown in the tab list, below their name plate, in the friends menu and in the Wardrobe menu when hovering over the Faction Loyalty icon.
At level 15, and every 30 levels after that, the player unlocks new faction-themed cosmetics from the Faction Merchant. These can only be equipped if the player matches the faction they're for and award 0 trophies.
Faction Selection
When players first join MCC Island, they are met by the Faction Master who prompts them to select a faction.
Players can change their faction at the Faction Shack every 24 hours for free, without losing any progress in their previous faction.
Prestiging
Every 30 levels, the player prestiges their faction, changing the colour of their faction's border in their wardrobe and on tab.
As of 0.24.0, there are 9 prestiges, and the player can continue levelling up after the maximum prestige infinitely. This patch also removed any cost associated with prestiging.
Prestige Quests

Upon claiming the last reward in the current prestige, the player is given prestige Quest Scrolls depending on what level of prestige is being worked towards. Each quest scroll will give the player an Emblem Shard, which is used to craft the faction emblem.
Emblem Crafting

Crafting the emblem requires all of the Emblem Shards, which are gathered from the Emblem Shard Quest Scrolls.
Once all the shards are acquired, they can be combined at the Blueprint Assembler in Splinter's Workshop.

Loyalty Road

The Loyalty Road was the progression system within factions. Earning Island XP from playing games went towards levelling up the Loyalty Road.
Every 5 levels a reward was available to claim. Once the player reached level 30, they could prestige, unlocking another 30 levels in the road and another set of rewards, as well as a Mythic Cosmetic Key.
Each Faction's XP earned was separate, meaning you could gain new rewards for each faction you levelled up.
Below were the rewards for every 5 levels on the Loyalty Road. All rewards depend on either the faction being levelled up, or the category the faction is in.
