Factions are one of the main progression channels on MCC Island. There are 10 factions, each named after one of the teams from MC Championship.
The players current faction is shown in the tab list, below their name plate, in the friends menu, and in the Wardrobe menu when hovering over the Faction Loyalty icon
Faction Selection
When players first join MCC Island, they are met by the Faction Master who prompts them to select a faction before continuing.
Players can change their faction at the Faction Master every 24 hours for free, without losing any progress in their previous faction.
Loyalty Road
The Loyalty Road is the progression system within factions. Earning Island XP from playing games will go towards levelling up the loyalty road.
Every 5 levels a reward is available to claim. Once the player reaches level 30, they can prestige, unlocking another 30 levels in the road and another set of rewards, as well as a Mastery Key.
Each factions XP earned is separate, meaning you can gain new rewards for each faction you level up.
Below are the rewards for every 5 levels on the Loyalty Road. All rewards depend on either the faction being levelled up, or the category the faction is in.

Prestiging
Every 30 levels, the player can prestige a faction, unlocking another 30 levels and an Uncommon Cosmetic Crate (Attuned). Prestiging has two parts, completing the prestige quests and crafting the prestige emblem.
There are currently three prestiges, for a total of 120 levels per faction, and 1200 total levels across all factions.
Prestige Quests
Upon claiming the last reward in the current prestige, the player is given prestige Quest Scrolls depending on what level of prestige is being worked towards. Each quest scroll will give the player an Emblem Shard, which is used to craft the faction emblem.
Emblem Crafting
Crafting the emblem requires all of the Emblem Shards, which are gathered from the Emblem Shard Quest Scrolls.
Once all the shards are acquired, they can be combined at the Blueprint Assembler in Splinter's Workshop.
Below are the amount of shards and base required time to craft the Emblem for each prestige.
