Patch 0.24.0 was a major patch, which marked the start of Season 5 and brought massive economy changes.
Two articles were released alongside the patch notes:
Season 5
- Introduced Season 5, "Cyber Surge", with 30 new cosmetics.
- The Battlepass and Seasonal Machine have been updated with these new cosmetics and rewards.
- All seasonal cosmetics from Season 4 have been added to the Ancient Jungle Cosmetic Crate, and a selection have been added to the Seasonal Variety Cosmetic Crate.
- The Seasonal Machine now takes Seasonal Cosmetic Keys, which can be earned through the Battle Pass Premium Road or the webstore.
- Each pull gives you a random selection of 12 cosmetics. You are able to pull the same cosmetic multiple times.
- After every 10 pulls, your next pull is guaranteed to be

- The Seasonal Shop, Seasonal Shards and Seasonal Tokens have been removed.
- The Battle Pass' daily XP limit has been increased from 10,000 XP to 20,000 XP.
- The Battle Pass now requires more XP to complete.
Game Changes
- Treasure has been rebalanced, with
and
treasure reciving buffs to their cosmetic odds.
- When scavenging a fishing cosmetic, you are now granded with Climate Cosmetic Cores, with the climate of the cores matching the climate the cosmetic is from.
- The amount of cores you get correlates to the rarity of the item.
- You can trade these cores to the new hidden Collector vendors on each island for all rare+ cosmetics or A.N.G.L.R. Tokens.
- A.N.G.L.R. Exchange's stock has expanded, and it's rotation period has been lengthened to every month.
- Supreme Overclock was added for players with the
Grand Champ Supreme rank.
- Added new map; Fairy Ring.
- Added two new maps; Dojo and Forts.
- Added new map; Loons.
- Added new map; Labwallatory.
- Added new map; Construction Obstruction.
Grand Champ Supreme
The fourth lifetime rank, Grand Champ Supreme was added. Alongside new perks:
- Rank Color Changer setting, which changes the color of your username in chat.
- Lobby Announcements, which announce whenever you join a lobby or Fishing instance.
- You gain a +20% boost to all Island XP you earn.
- This perk stacks with the 30% from
MCC+.
- You share your 20% boost when in a party with users without the rank.
- This perk stacks with the 30% from
- You get 10% more gems on any webstore purchase containing gems.
- Upon purchase, you recieve a 30d MCC+ Token.
Additional perks were added to Fishing, which is detailed in it's section on the page.
Performance Update
Long-awaited performance improvements that the team has been working on since the release of Fishing were included in this patch.
- Client FPS should be significantly higher in the lobbies and slightly higher in games.
- Memory usage should be lower.
- Resource pack loading screen should be faster.
- Some inventory menus should be more responsive.
- Particularly, hotbar items should no longer have delay before showing up.
Performance is optimized to clients on Minecraft version 1.21.5.

Bug Fixes:
- In-world models now render even if their center is not on-screen.
- Fixed Network Protocol Error when a disguised player leaves the game before it has ended.
- Fixed various issues where the hotbar would disappear or not load after closing a menu.
- Fixed stars behind games in the navigator menu rendering in front on Minecraft version 1.21.6.
- Fixed background music in Parkour Warrior: Dojo starting on join instead of when a run is started.
- Fixed Parkour Warrior: Survivor games not ending properly when only one player remains.
- Fixed Parkour Warrior: Survivor allowing finishing leaps after dying.
- Fixed Parkour Warrior: Survivor not allowing winning players to move after the game ends.
- Fixed issue where Line Charge hitting the barrier around the map causes a weird pattern of blocks to be removed in Dynaball.
- Fixed chat channel indicator rendering over off-hand icon in rare cases.
- Fixed Tornado Aura not picking up blocks anymore after moving around.
- Fixed Superstar Aura’s rotating cameras flickering when looked at.
- Fixed TGTTOS karma carry-over between games applying to plobbies. Karma in plobbies now starts at neutral every game and does not carry over after.
- Fixed TGTTOS karma carry-over between games not capping the karma causing it to be maximized already when the next game starts.
- Fixed openables rendering incorrectly on Minecraft version 1.21.6 and above.
- Fixed lobby scoreboard not showing a party after having previously left a party.
- Fixed ignore menu not updating after removing the last ignored player.
