Wayfinder Data

Wayfinder Data is a currency obtained when fishing on any Fishing Island. It is used to discover Grottos, allowing the player to focus specific types of catches they may want.

Usage

• 2,000 is required to discover each climate's Grotto, and does not overflow past 2,000. Once the Grotto collapses, another 2,000 must be earnt to re-discover it.

Obtainment

• Each catch gives a base 10, no matter the item caught. However, this can be increased in the following ways, up to a maximum of 180 per catch:
  • A.N.G.L.R. Wayfinder Lures each give a bonus 10 per catch, with an equip limit of 2.
  • A.N.G.L.R. Wayfinder Ultralures give a bonus 20 per catch, with an equip limit of 1.
  • Upgrading the Wayfinder Data perk gives up to a bonus 10 per catch.
  • Using the Unstable Overclock and setting it to Wayfinder Data gives up to a bonus 10 per catch.
  • Fishing at a spot with the Wayfinder Data perk gives a bonus 10 per catch.
  • Fishing on an island with Wise Winds gives a bonus 10 per catch.
  •  Boosted Rod triggers double the Wayfinder Data recieved from a catch.
