Battle Box is a round-based arena team game centred around a central objective of 9 concrete blocks. The game's aim is to gain the most points for your team over 3 rounds. 45 points are awarded for a kill, and 600 points are awarded for completing the objective by filling the central space with your team's colour concrete.
Orbs
Orbs are similar to potions in that they apply effects when they're thrown, but they're unique in that they can be thrown much further and have a timed delay before applying their effect and have a much larger radius.
There are five orbs available in Battle Box, two positive and three negative: instant damage, blindness, health, glowing, and levitation.

Sparks
Sparks are consumable items that apply potion effects upon use. They do not have a use-time, and activate immediately upon right-clicking. Sparks can only be used on the player holding them. There are three types of sparks, all positive: regeneration, speed, and levitation.

Kits
Every player in Battle Box gets time before the game starts to pick a kit. Every kit contains roughly the same base items, but each also contains unique items such as crossbows, potions, cobwebs, and more. Kits cannot be changed after the game starts, but the player's items refill after each round.
There are 7 kits in Battle Box, each with different strengths and weaknesses. The main difference between each kit is its weapons. All kits contain infinite blocks, leather boots, and an efficiency 2 iron pickaxe.
Baller - Orb-focused and defensive
Flanker - Speed-focused and offensive
Gadgeteer - Trap/placeable focused
Healer - A support kit with items to heal allies
Scrapper - A close-quarters combat kit focused on strong weapons
Sharpshooter - Range-based kit with a powerful crossbow
Trickster - A sneak-focused kit with invisibility and speed
The same kit on different maps will contain slightly different items to account for the gameplay differences of each map. The list of kits for each map can be found below.
