Patch 0.10.0 is a major patch that brings the start of the 2023 summer event: Squidtek Invasion.
Features
- New limited time event: Squidtek Invasion.
- New limited time game remix: Sky Battle - Water Fight
Squidtek Invasion
- Lasts a total of three weeks.
- The main hub received a summer revamp.
- Introduced daily summer challenges to earn event currency.
- Four challenges available each day
- The first is to log on
- The second is to last 30 seconds in three games of Sky Battle - Water Fight
- The last two are random rare quests
- Four challenges available each day
- Added a summer event shop with some exclusive summer cosmetics.
- Added a summer event bundle to the webstore.
- Added a clam machine.
- This machine works similar to the crate machine.
- Players cannot roll duplicates from the clam machine.
- There are a total of 35 rewards obtainable from the clam machine, including 18 cosmetics.
- Players can use the clam machine with a Summer Crate Key or 200 gems per roll.
Sky Battle - Water Fight
- Introduced Sky Battle - Water Fight, which is a remix of Sky Battle
- It will remain in the games roster for the duration of the summer event.
- Instead of a health bar, players have an indicator of how dry they are.
- If a player becomes too soggy, they are eliminated.
- Introduced new items next to the already existing Sky Battle loot table.
- Water Creepers - A normal creeper that’s been dipped in the pool, move out the way when it explodes or you’ll get covered with water!
- Timed Water Bombs - Creates a timed explosion of water when thrown!
- Water Bucket - Creates a water source!
- Sparks of Speed will also make a debut for Sky Battle in this gamemode!
Map Changes
- Added a total of four new maps to various games:
- Battle Box: Ships.
- Hole in the Wall: Fishbowl.
- To Get To The Other Side: Chilli Con Carnage, Racetrack.
- Haunted House (Battle Box)
- Swapped Wooden Swords for Stone Swords in all kits.
- Water Park (To Get To The Other Side)
- Water Park has been added back.
Miscellaneous Changes
- Increased the duration of Sparks of Speed from 1.5 secs to 1.8 secs.
- Increased the duration of Orbs of Levitation from 2.4 secs to 2.7 secs.
- Nerfed the trap 'Revenge' in Hole in the Wall, reducing slimes spawned from 8 to 4.
- Turned off the feature that shuts down games if they fall below the required player count.
- Hair is no longer equipped automatically when you remove a hat.
- Added custom textures to Chickens, Guardians, Creepers and Sheep.
- Added a custom sun texture.
- Miscellaneous texture changes.
