== Obtaining ==
!Name
Most cosmetics are obtained by consuming "Cosmetic Tokens", consumable items stored in your [[Infinibag]]. These are obtained by crafting them from [[Blueprint]]s using the [[Blueprint Assembler]]. Clicking one of these tokens consumes it and unlocks the corresponding cosmetic in your wardrobe. Other cosmetics are immediately unlocked in the Wardrobe upon obtaining them, such as those from [[Vendors]], the [[Battle Pass]] and [[Game Passes]].

Cosmetics can be equipped in the Wardrobe tab of the My Profile item in the player's hotbar. Only one of each type of Cosmetic can be equipped at one time.

All cosmetics reward players with [[File:Style Trophy.png|20x20px]] Style Trophies based on their rarity and unlocked chromas. Certain cosmetics reward [[File:Icon-Champion Score Bonus.png|20px]] Bonus Trophies instead, if they are currently unobtainable in-game in any way.

Players may choose to scavenge their Cosmetic Tokens for [[File:Standard Cosmetic Core.png|20x20px]] Cosmetic Cores and [[File:Royal Reputation.png|20px]] Royal Reputation at the [[Scavenger's Hideout]]. The number of Cosmetic Cores received from scavenging is based on the rarity of the cosmetic. If a player already owns a cosmetic, clicking on the token will warp them to the Scavenger's Hideout as a guidance.

==How to Unlock Cosmetics and How to Enable/Disable them==
You can unlock cosmetics in a variety of different ways:
*Opening Customization Crates earnt by playing MCCI mini-games.
*In the Shopping District using coins earnt by playing MCCI mini-games.

To put an item on, head to your personal menu, click on the boxes in the equipment area or open up the wardrobe itself and scroll through all the items you’ve unlocked. You can also take it right back off by left-clicking on it again in your wardrobe. This can also be done by shift-clicking the item in your personal menu.

You can also customise your cosmetics by adding a variation. These are:

All variants are unlocked using Blueprints, incomplete versions of the Cosmetic Variant that needs to be rebuilt to unlock a Cosmetic Variant.
 
Once you’ve found an incomplete Blueprint, a certain amount of components are needed to rebuild the Variant. These components are found in Customization Kits and Crates or, occasionally, given out as prizes for doing well in the Island’s mini-games. components come in 5 rarity tiers, from common to legendary. The rarer the variant, the rarer the components you’ll need to reconstruct it.
 
Once you’ve collected all the components you need to unlock your desired Blueprint, take everything to The Cosmetic Crafter in Posé and open the Blueprint Assembler. Pop your Blueprint and all the necessary components (as well as a few coins for the service) in the queue and, after a bit of time and a little patience, head back to The Cosmetic Crafter to collect your completed Variant.

After all that gathering, waiting, and hard work, you’ll finally be able to customize that beautiful sunhat into something more your style. To customise your cosmetic, head into the wardrobe and right click on the item you want to customize. From there, you can choose an unlocked Variant in the Variant tab or change the colour depending on the [[Chroma Pack]] you’ve unlocked in the Chroma tab.

Customization Kits and Crates come in 3 tiers: Bronze, Silver, and Golden, affecting the rarity of items that can be obtained by opening them. Some of these higher rarity kits are locked and will require you to complete a quest or obtain a Kit Key to open them and claim the goodies inside.

Cosmetics are one of the main features on MCC Island, allowing players to customize their character. Cosmetics can be obtained in a variety of ways, including Cosmetic Crates and the Battle Pass.

There are currently six different types of Cosmetics:

Obtaining

Most cosmetics are obtained by consuming "Cosmetic Tokens", consumable items stored in your Infinibag. These are obtained by crafting them from Blueprints using the Blueprint Assembler. Clicking one of these tokens consumes it and unlocks the corresponding cosmetic in your wardrobe. Other cosmetics are immediately unlocked in the Wardrobe upon obtaining them, such as those from Vendors, the Battle Pass and Game Passes.

Usage

Cosmetics can be equipped in the Wardrobe tab of the My Profile item in the player's hotbar. Only one of each type of Cosmetic can be equipped at one time.

Cosmetics are grouped together by collections - e.g. all cosmetics obtained in Season 3 will appear in the "Season 3: Candy Factory" collection.

If a player doesn't yet own a cosmetic, they can preview it and see roughly how it is obtained.

All cosmetics reward players with Style Trophies based on their rarity and unlocked chromas. Certain cosmetics reward Bonus Trophies instead, if they are currently unobtainable in-game in any way.

Players may choose to scavenge their Cosmetic Tokens for Cosmetic Cores and Royal Reputation at the Scavenger's Hideout. The number of Cosmetic Cores received from scavenging is based on the rarity of the cosmetic. If a player already owns a cosmetic, clicking on the token will warp them to the Scavenger's Hideout as a guidance.

Chroma Customisation

Certain cosmetics can be personalized using Chroma Packs, allowing players to change the colour of the cosmetic to the exact colour and shade they want. There are four colour gradients available, each with 27 shades:

  • Mechanical
  • Natural
  • Oceanic
  • Magical

Additionally, unlocking any of the four colour gradients also unlocks a greyscale palette, filled with 9 different shades.

Cosmetic Outfits

Cosmetic Outfits allow you to save a specific set of cosmetics and their selected colours to a slot in your Outfit Menu. The menu can be accessed via the My Profile item.

The cosmetic displayed as the icon for an outfit in the menu follows this priority:

  • Hat
  • Accessory
  • Aura
  • Trail
  • Cloak
  • Rod

As such, any outfit saved without any cosmetic will show the empty hat icon.

A total of 10 slots can be unlocked through purchasing a rank or accumulating Style Trophies:
