Squidtek Invasion

Squidtek Invasion was the fourth in-game event on MCC Island, introduced for the summer period. It introduced a remixed version of Sky Battle called Sky Battle - Water Fight, and 25 limited cosmetics.

The event was the first of the server's Open Beta, and the first of 2023.

The Island

The island played host to a contingent from Squidtek, alien squids from outer space. They could be found at the Island docks, where they had setup a shop that sold exclusive summer items and cosmetics.

Clam Machine and Summer Cosmetics

A version of the Crate Machine, the Clam Machine, was added and rewarded players with 35 rewards, including 18 cosmetics. The Clam Machine had a no duplicates system in place, meaning each pull would grant a player a different item.

The Clam Machine could be opened with a Summer Crate Key or 200 Gems.

The Summer Event Shop brought with it two currencies for the duration of the event, Seashells and Summer Tokens.

Summer Quests

Every day, players could complete 4 daily quests on the "Squidtek Quest Board". Upon completion, they would reward you with Seashells and Summer Tokens. The four quests consisted of two fixed quests and two random, rerollable quests. The fixed quests were:

• Login to MCC Island.
• Survive at least 60 seconds in 3 games of Sky Battle - Water Fight.
