Cosmetics

Cosmetics are one of the main features on MCC Island, allowing players to customize their character. Cosmetics can be obtained in a variety of ways, including the Crate Machine and the Battle Pass.
There are currently five different types of Cosmetics:
Obtaining
Most cosmetics come in the form of Cosmetic Tokens, consumable items stored in your Infinibag. They can be found either by Blueprint Crafting or opening Crates from the Crate Machine. Clicking one of these tokens consumes it and unlocks the corresponding cosmetic in your Wardrobe. Alternatively, players may choose to scavenge their Cosmetic Tokens for Knick Knax Tickets at the Scavenger's Hideout, or donate them to the Scavenger King's Royal Collection for
Royal Reputation.
Other cosmetics are immediately unlocked in the Wardrobe upon obtaining them, such as those from the Battle Pass and Game Passes.
The following is a conclusive list of all methods of obtaining cosmetics:
- Opening Cosmetic Crates
- Crafting Blueprints at the Blueprint Assembler
- Opening the Seasonal Machine and Legacy Machine
- Purchasing from Shops and Vendors
- Levelling up the Battle Pass
- Levelling up Game Passes and completing their Mastery Challenges
- Opening the Mastery Gate
- Completing Faction Quest Scrolls earned from the Loyalty Road
- Purchasing Cosmetic Bundles or Ranks from the Webstore
Usage

Cosmetics can be equipped in the Wardrobe via the Personal Menu. Only one of each type of Cosmetic can be equipped at one time.
Cosmetics are found grouped together in the Wardrobe if they are of a similar subtype - e.g. all Sunhats are found in the same slot of the Wardrobe.
If a player doesn't yet own a cosmetic, they can preview it and see roughly how it is obtained. If the player doesn't yet own any cosmetic in a group, they will be unable to see all of the cosmetics within that group.
All cosmetics reward players with Trophies based on their rarity and unlocked chromas. Certain cosmetics reward
Bonus Trophies instead, if they are currently unobtainable in-game in any way.
Chroma Customisation

Certain cosmetics can be personalized using Chroma Packs, allowing players to change the colour of the cosmetic to the exact colour and shade they want. There are four colour gradients available, each with 27 shades:
Additionally, unlocking any of the four colour gradients also unlocks a greyscale palette, filled with 9 different shades.

Cosmetic Outfits allow you to save a loadout of cosmetics and their selected colours to a slot in your Outfit Menu. The menu can be accessed via the Personal Menu.
The cosmetic displayed as the icon for an outfit in the menu follows this priority:
- Hat
- Accessory
- Aura
- Trail
- Cloak
As such, any outfit saved without any cosmetic will show the empty hat icon.
A total of 10 slots can be unlocked through purchasing a rank or accumulating Wardrobe Trophies:
